My pictures don’t really tell a story, mainly just what is going on in nature. My main focus is mainly nature and wildlife. I used a lot of earthy colors in my photos, and all natural lighting. My photos are good because they all reflect the truth of nature. I don’t think I would have changed any of my photos because they all fit together nicely. My photos connect to my own experiences because I really like plants and wildlife in nature.
I was born here in Tucson, Arizona, and have grown up around a lot of nature. Due to that, I really enjoy taking landscape photos, mainly of nature and natural objects. Since I live really close to Mount Lemon, all I have to do is walk outside to take some photos. There are also a lot of rocks and rock formations around my house, which can be a lot of fun to photograph in the right lighting. Another one of my favorite things to take photos of is clouds, especially storm clouds. During the monsoon season, I will sometimes walk around outside for hours and take photos of the ever-changing clouds and rain. My family will often take trips to nature-filled places, whether local or several hours or days away. I enjoy taking photos on these trips because the objects in nature open a whole new world of opportunity that I would not be able to get where I live. I also like to use vibrant colors that complement the other colors in the photo and draw attention to certain parts of the photo. Since I live in the southwest, the sunsets are very warm and colorful, and can make great backgrounds for photos that I take.

Dear Editor of National Geographic,
I would like to apply for a job as a nature/wildlife photography at National Geographic. I believe that my several years of photography experience and my Photoshop skills make me a strong candidate for this position. I have taken both digital media and photography classes, and have learned how to use Photoshop, Lightroom, and DSLR cameras. I am skilled at being patient and can wait hours just to get the perfect shot. My best style of photography is nature and wildlife, which is perfect for this position. I believe that all of these skills make me an ideal candidate for this position of nature photographer for National Geographic.
I took this photo right before the Super moon rose up above the mountains. I like how the moon rays outline the mountain, as well as the difference in contrast.
I love how much detail this picture has, with each spine showing up in detail. The colors really blend together in the picture, which adds to the effect.
I took this photo while I was walking around my house and saw this nail. I like how the nail and wall are in focus, but the background is blurred.
I took this photo while a storm was blowing in, and the blowing clouds in the upper atmosphere look really cool.
This photo is of some flowers in front of my house. The flowers show warm colors and complementary colors with the bush behind them.
